Do not trust them with a single bullion
A good strategy is to check everything you get in contact with before accepting it somehow. There are many ways to get familiar with what you are given. In order to check if the just bought goods are fine, you need to test them and then use the warranty form to fill the gaps and boxes and send it to the producer. Buying something you are not sure of can be misleading and confusing. The same goes for accepting something without looking inside. If you are given a mysterious package, would you be as rude as to open it brutally and get it upside down to see the contend, right in front of the person who gave it to you? Some people are, the other not so much. Those, who are, can only benefit from it. My uncle was involved in a strange issue because he was given his salary in form of gold bullion instead of hard money. His preferred method of payment was cash of course, but the managers claimed that the market situation has forced them to deal with some market phenomena by freezing the flow of normal, standard cash. This is why the bullion became a normal means of payment. My uncle trusted his employer and never did check the weight or consistency of the given bullion. Every single one ought to have been checked of course. Soon he discovered that all the units he has become where underweight and he was to be given actually more money for what he had done at work.
