Sudden rise in supply of scrap gold

We do not know yet what it has been caused by and when actually did it start, but the facts speak for themselves. Entrepreneurs in unison claim that the supply of scrap gold has risen enormously in recent weeks! Eight out of ten asked in our questionnaire which we carried through last week in the city, answered that they noticed a kind of revolution in the number of customers willing to sell gold on scrap gold basis. They bring old jewelry items, broken jewelry, unused necklaces, earrings, all the things that are made of gold or are at least shiny and gold-like. There are opinions that the situation has nothing to do with the rise in supply but is rather connected with the price situation on the market. The national bank forecasts changes in gold price for the upcoming months and a significant fall is to take place so people do their best to get rid of what they have in their gold supplies now. They just sell gold they don"t need and the frequency that the goldsmiths notice is just coincidence. Their task is to conduct scrap gold trades taking under consideration the actual prices on the market and not asking about anything else. Where do people take the ore from is not their business at all.
